Informatics Education Ltd (IEL) is a multinational corporation listed on the Main board of the Stock Exchange of Singapore. Established in 1983, it is one of the largest education and training service provider in Asia, providing quality lifelong learning services in the fields of InfoComm Technology, Business, Finance, Management and Language programmes. Informatics currently has 113 centres worldwide and a global network spanning 22 countries, while its wholly-owned subsidiary NCC Education in the UK has 300 centres in 45 countries. The Group offers programmes from O levels (for international students) and diplomas to undergraduate and postgraduate degrees

Informatics was established in 1983, in response to Asia's economic growth fostering tremendous demands for skilled Information Technology (IT) manpower and knowledge-based workers to build and sustain the rapid economic development in the region.
 
Informatics ranks alongside blue chip companies on the list of Top 20 Overall Best-Managed Singapore Companies in Asiamoney's tenth annual poll of best-managed companies in January 2002.
 
Informatics' core business activities are training and education, IT-related services and franchise operations. The franchise products are Informatics Computer School, Thames Business School, Informatics Professional Development Centre and Informatics Global Campus.
 
Today, Informatics Education Limited, through the business units, International Division, Informatics Academy, E-Learning and Franchise & Licensing, has established itself as the global leader in providing quality lifelong learning services for individuals and corporations.
 
Achievements
Informatics amassed an interesting list of awards and accolades in the past year, once again providing testament to our continuous strive in ensuring service and academic excellence. To name a few:
Finalist - Best Host for International Students - Singapore Education Awards (Education Services Division ¨C Singapore Tourism Board) Informatics was the only PEO in this inaugural award hosted by SPRING Singapore. This has given us a confidence boost and is testament of the excellent work put in by our International Office, Student Service and Academic teams.
  • Our students have also fared well in achievements, with one of our students being the proud recipient of the prestigious Golden Key Award. This scholarship programme is formed by a few key universities in Australia to reward the top 15% of each faculty. Students must have displayed excellent academic and leadership qualities. Our student was invited on-campus to University of Southern Queensland to pursue her Postgraduate studies.
  • Our exemplary high percentage of first class graduates from our Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering program with Northumbria University was also regarded by the university as the ¡°best model collaboration¡±, leading to a revalidation of the programme with Informatics.
  •  Service Excellence Award (SPRING Singapore) We have gleaned this award for 3 consecutive years, and it has encouraged us to want to make this a permanent feature in our list of achievements.
